The RAY Community Room

The Ray Community Room hosted two Darkness to Light seminars - confronting child sexual abuse with courage.   The program is designed for "Stewards of Children" which includes everyone to whom the care of children is entrusted.  We were fortunate to have Donna Laffew, clinical director of Life Crisis as our presenter.  Ms. Laffew is an engaging presenter with a wealth of experience counseling survivors of sexual abuse.  She was one of the experts interviewed by WBOC TV during the station's "Bless Our Children: Protecting Them From Predators" prime time special.  The seminar was free and offered at two different times on Thursday, May 27 th. The program was very well atended with individuals from park services, Worcester County Public Library and Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School.
