The "SILVER LINING PROJECT"
Over the years, you have heard the old adage "Every cloud has a silver lining". To breathe life into this saying, Worcester Youth and Family Counseling Services Inc. is launching a new campaign that challenges you, no matter who you are, to be an asset builder in your everyday life. While this may seem like a
monumental task, each of you, young and old, has the ability to make a positive impact on the life of another person. Adults, you can simply- say hello to a teen, share a story, watch over a neighborhood child, compliment a stranger, or show appreciation. Young People, you can simply- say hello to an adult, look
out for children in your neighborhood, share a story, or be kind to one another. There are many ways we all can build assets. We ask you to join our asset movement by purchasing and wearing our $2 Silver Lining
wristband as a reminder that no act of kindness is insignificant and that there truly is a silver lining in each of us. Your challenge is to help us light a "SPARK" in the life of another person by promoting a Spontaneous Act of Random Kindness. Once the "SPARK" is lit watch it grow. Purchase and give an extra bracelet to that person or to someone you know who has had a positive impact on your life. It is our hope the bracelets will be recognized by everyone as a simple, yet poignant reminder that we must look for the positive in each other, in our community, and in the world.

WEAR IT FOR A CHILD
Display your support for local children in need by purchasing one of our unique CASA bracelets or watches. Fifty percent of the sales benefit our (CASA) Court Appointed Special Advocate Program. CASAs are volunteers trained to speak up for the best interests of abused and neglected children in the court system.
